Our Masterplan

Our emerging Masterplan has been carefully designed to take consideration of the existing landscape features at the site, including field boundaries, watercourses, and vegetation. Existing large trees have been integrated into the Masterplan, will be retained, and protected wherever possible during construction to maintain the natural character of the site’s vegetation, break up sightlines into the development and to create a landscape led character to the development. The existing coppice of trees at the northeast of the site will be retained and protected. Along the southern edge of the site, new Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) will be introduced to manage surface run-off, prevent flooding, and emphasise the canalside character.

As indicated on the Masterplan, this site has been meticulously designed to form a sustainable and green extension to Pelsall, blending seamlessly with neighbouring land and emphasising the positive characteristics of the site.

The existing retained hedgerows are contained within new green corridors, connecting the green space at the northeast of the site to the public open spaces and new boardwalk alongside the canal to the south, allowing new and existing residents to enjoy the newly accessible waterfront atmosphere.
